Was there twice while stationed in Spain back in 06. Loved the passion and authenticity. The sensuality of the dancing takes your breath away. Seemed like the more the dancers got into it the louder the stomping got and it did get loud! This is a must see if you are in Jerez or the surrounding areas.

We stayed there in 2006 for a week and found it fabulous and convenient. The beds were a little hard but we just folded up the extra blanket from the closet and put it under the sheet.

Great shots of the Catherdral, Paul! I just finished reading \"Pillars\" while on vacation so this is an especailly interesting post… What amazing dedication the builders have to complete such detailed and huge structures.

Love San Sebastian… great food and nightlife as well as a beautiful beach. I remember my first trip there as a young, 20-something visiting with my French rugby-player boyfriend! Ooooo la la!

Ted – we rented from Friendly Rentals (dot com). The apartment was at Calle de Txurruka, 5. Great apartment, no wifi.

oh yes… I remember that beach well Paul. Loved it 15yrs ago and would love to get an address from you regarding your apartment nearby so that I can reserve / rent it for a weekend in September for some much needed R&R.
